Application is easy with a slow flash-off time, giving you more time to achieve a perfect finish without the pressure of professional application.

Simple Steps To Help You Get The Best Results

EXOv5 can be applied as a standalone sealant or as a top layer for C1 Crystal Lacquer, Crystal Serum Ultra, or Crystal Serum Light (CSL)
If applying over C1, apply EXOv5 a minimum of 4 hours, but less than 12 hours, after finishing the C1 application
If applying over CSL, EXOv5 can be applied straight away starting at the same place you did with CSL; for best results wait two hours to let the product flash-off longer
Ensure vehicle is out of direct sunlight but warmer than 5 degrees celsius (41°F, completely dry, and will stay dry for at least 12 hours after application
Wipe down all surfaces using Panel Wipe and an MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth (apply to the cloth, not the panel); skip this step if applying over newly applied C1 or CSL
Shake the bottle well and wear gloves
Prime the AP2 Ultra Soft Foam Filled Applicator evenly with product so the pad is damp
Apply in overlapping strokes to a small panel or half a large panel
Immediately remove residue with an MF1 cloth; buff the same area several times without too much force, then follow with a second MF1 to remove any smearing
Allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours before getting wet
Do not wash the car for at least a week after application
Store in a cool, dry place and use within 3 months of opening

What is the difference between EXOv5 and car wax?

EXOv5 also provides superior water beading, UV protection, and resistance to road grime and wash chemicals.

Can I apply EXOv5 over paint protection film?

Yes. EXOv5 can be applied over paint protection film to add hydrophobic properties and enhance water beading on wrapped surfaces, but we have HALOv2 that is specifically designed to go on PPF and Vinyl.

Do I need to do paint correction before applying EXOv5?

For best results, address any swirl marks or imperfections before application. EXOv5 will lock in whatever condition the paint is in. If your paint is in good shape, thorough cleaning with Panel Wipe is sufficient preparation.

Can I take my car through a car wash after applying EXOv5?

Wait at least one week after application before washing. Hand wash is recommended for best durability. If using an automated car wash, touchless is preferable to avoid potential swirl marks from brushes.

Is EXOv5 better as a standalone coating or over CSL?

For maximum durability and paint protection, we recommend applying EXOv5 over Crystal Serum Light. CSL provides hardness and chemical resistance while EXOv5 adds the hydrophobic layer for water beading and easier cleaning. As a standalone, EXOv5 still delivers excellent results with up to two years of protection.

Because of the nature of our products, opened chemicals, soaps, and coatings are final sale. Towels, brushes, pads, and accessories must be unused and in resalable condition.
