There’s no such thing as the “perfect pad”… but the Buff and Shine Blueberry Heavy Polishing foam pad comes close, super close.
If you feel the surface of the Blueberry foam pad, you don’t feel the same sharpness that you’ll find with the Buff and Shine maroon and light blue foam cutting pads. Instead it’s a subtle sharpness that you don’t get with most foam polishing pads.
This specific foam formula excels at defect removal and can even finish down LSP-ready on hard and medium paints. For a lot of cars this means you can do ONE STEP paint correction using only this pad and the right Dr. Beasley’s Nano Surface Primer.
The Blueberry pad works great with all types of polishers including rotary polishers, gear-driven orbital polishers and free spinning, random orbital polishers. It’s a great pair with our more aggressive CoreCut and CoreCut+ Nano Surface Primers for restoring severely neglected paint. The Blueberry pad is also a perfect match with our NSP 150 for removing less severe defects while leaving a clear, high-gloss finish ready for the next step.
For my own detailing work, the Blueberry Heavy Polishing foam pad is one of the most used pads in my buffing pad arsenal. Whether I’m polishing after rotary work done with a wool pad or knocking out a paint correction with just a gear-driven orbital, this is my pad of choice.
