Simple steps to help you get the best results

Shake the spray bottle well before use
Before applying Bike Clean, rinse the surface with water to remove loose dirt and grime
Use the bike wash and bike drivetrain degreaser directly onto all surfaces and allow to dwell for 3-5 minutes
In extreme cases, agitate the surface with a Bike Detailing Brush or soft brush
For drivetrain cleaning, use a claw brush or chain cleaner tool to work the product into the chain and cassette
Rinse residue thoroughly with low pressure water and dry the surface with a Bike Drying Towel
Avoid using high pressure directly on bearings, bottom bracket, or headset
Store bottle in a cool, dry place

Can I use Bike Clean on my drivetrain and chain?

Yes. Bike Clean works on the entire bike including the drivetrain, chain, cassette, and bottom bracket but we have a separate drivetrain cleaner. For heavy grease buildup, apply directly to the chain, agitate with a claw brush or chain cleaner, and rinse thoroughly. After cleaning, apply your preferred chain lube.

Do I need to use warm water or hot water with Bike Clean?

No. Bike Clean works effectively with regular water. Simply rinse the bike first to remove loose dirt, apply the product, let it dwell, then rinse again. Warm water can help with stubborn dirt but is not required.

Will Bike Clean remove my ceramic coating?

No. Bike Clean is formulated to work safely with Gtechniq ceramic coatings like Bike Ceramic and Ceramic Quick Coat. It cleans the surface without stripping protective layers.

Can I use a pressure washer with Bike Clean?

Use low pressure only. High pressure water can force water into bearings, the bottom bracket, and headset, causing premature wear. A garden hose or hand pump sprayer provides enough pressure for effective rinsing.

How often should I wash my bike?

For road bikes ridden in dry conditions, wash every few weeks or when visibly dirty. For mountain bikes or after riding in wet roads and mud, wash after each ride to prevent grime from building up on the drivetrain and frame.

We want you to be happy with every product. Unopened products in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days with your receipt or order confirmation for a refund or exchange.

Because of the nature of our products, opened chemicals, soaps, and coatings are final sale. Towels, brushes, pads, and accessories must be unused and in resalable condition. Class enrollments and store credit are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future class. Received something damaged? Contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
