The Buff and Shine EdgeGuard Yellow Foam Polishing Pad excels at GENTLE cutting for any final polishing work after the initial cutting step or when you’re polishing paint with very light defects.  

For hard to medium paints, the yellow foam pad is perfect for the last polishing step. It works great on all types of polishers including rotary polishers, gear-driven orbital polishers and free spinning, random orbital polishers. 

When doing a Test Spot on any car I’ve never worked on before, I use the Buff and Shine Yellow Polishing pad to let me know if the paint is hard or soft and whether the defects are deep or shallow.  It’s an excellent baseline to start from.

When I’m lucky, the yellow foam pad will get the job done using either NSP 95 or Z1 and this means I can do the job in one step.
