Simple steps to help you get the best results

  • Allow surfaces to cool before use
  • Shake well and wear gloves
  • Add 8 capfuls of shampoo to the 5-gallon wash bucket
  • Fill bucket with fresh water
  • Wash down all surfaces using the Marine Microfibre Wash Mitt
  • Thoroughly rinse all surfaces with fresh water
  • Dry using the MF2 microfiber drying towels to prevent water spots
  • Store products in a cool, dry place

What surfaces can I use this kit on?

The Marine Wash Kit is safe for gel coat, fiberglass, painted surfaces, vinyl, stainless steel, and other metal surfaces. UV Wash is formulated to work with all Gtechniq Marine coatings without stripping protection.

Will UV Wash remove hard water spots or stains?

UV Wash is designed for regular boat cleaning and maintenance washing. For hard water spots, use Water Spot Remover. For deep cleaning of vinyl seats, use Vinyl Clean.

How often should I wash my boat?

For boats used in salt water, rinse after every use and perform a complete boat wash at least every two weeks. Freshwater boats benefit from washing every 2-4 weeks depending on use. Regular washing prevents buildup of grime, stains, and environmental contaminants that can damage gel coat over time.

Is this kit safe for ceramic-coated boats?

Yes. UV Wash is specifically formulated to work with Gtechniq Marine coatings. It cleans effectively without stripping ceramic protection, making it ideal for coated boats.

What should I use after washing for UV protection?

After washing and drying, apply Ceramic Fast Coat for up to 6 months of UV protection and hydrophobic properties,

Because of the nature of our products, opened chemicals, soaps, and coatings are final sale. Towels, brushes, pads, and accessories must be unused and in resalable condition. Class enrollments and store credit are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future class. Received something damaged? Contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
